Stranger Creek Pools, Inc, is a Kansas based corporation owned by Mr. Steven King engaged in the design and installation of Custom Designed Gunite Swimming Pools, primarily in Leavenworth and Douglas counties. Mr. King possesses 20 years of experience in the Swimming Pool Industry being involved in the design/sales/construction of over 800 swimming pools dating back to the late 1970's. From 1982-1985 Mr. King was selected annually by the National Pool and Spa Institute (NSPI, Washington, DC) to serve the Swimming Pool Industry as a technical expert on their national hot line, fielding calls on a national level assisting other industry members with their service and installation challenges. From 1990-1993, Mr. King was recognized as an expert witness qualified to testify in the Knox County Tennessee courts system by that authority, with specific relevance to the construction and repair costs of swimming pools damaged by external natural and man made forces. In 2003 Mr. King returned to the Swimming Pool Industry after serving 10 years in the corporate world, last serving as the Executive Director of Business Development for a national franchise chain. After working through two downsizings, forty plus weeks a year riding airplanes and sleeping in hotels he leaped at the opportunity to return to the trade he knows and loves so well.
